Why take this course?
Observing and capturing a full range of tones in your botanical drawings is essential to creating an illusion of 3D and depth.

Your intent may be a shaded drawing as a finished artwork, or as preparation towards a botanical watercolour. Don’t let nerves about extreme light and dark areas result in flat and lifeless work. Gain confidence and give your drawings impact and wall appeal.

Topics covered will include selecting materials, conveying texture and best practice for smooth continuous tone in graphite.
