My 'Zoomschool' teaching platform was launched in 2020 but is continually developed. It has been very well received and students say it is the most lively and enganging way to study botanical art via Zoom.
In between sessions a 'virtual pinboard' app (free to download) allows you to post questions, upload work in progress/get my feedback, access further resources and exchange comments with your fellow students. Much more collaborative than most zoom-based teaching.
Demo videos and other resources may be accessed for a month after the class ends.
July 15,22,29, Aug 5,12
4-6pm UK time
A 5 session (over 5 weeks) deep-dive into how to draw and paint leaves in watercolour with realism.
All aspects shall be covered from structure, arrangement and textures to colour, details and composition. We shall study a different selection of leaves this time
Over the years I have taught several short courses on leaves but this shall be the most comprehensive. Devote the time and conquer your fear/see a dramatic improvement in how you portray leaves. Leaves are so important they can make or break a botanical painting.
*NOTE: Photo specimens, correctly lit will be provided to enable those in different locations to participate.
