Prior to the pandemic I started a botanical art group at Upper Sheringham Village Hall. in North Norfolk. Participants came from as far away as Suffolk and made great progress.
This September I plan to restart the group and welcome returners and new members of all levels for 10 Friday sessions.
You do not need previous experience.
Places are restricted to only 10.
Covid protocol?
Participants must be double vaccinated.
Masks required when moving around.
Equipment provided and not shared.
Hall well ventilated so dress warmly.
Individual tables well spaced.
Kitchen faciliites will not be available.
What kinds of things will we do?
- Intro to Botanical Art
- Intro to materials
- Basics of using watercolour for precise work
- How to pencil shade effectively to create form
- Careful line drawing taking some measurements
- Exercises to build skills
- Live demos shown on TV screen for distancing
- Projects appropriate to your level
